LOL! well, as to caligula, they DO have a version that was recut, taking out all the excessive, unnecessary porn. without it, it's rather a good flick.
to find this, you'd probably have to look for the "special edition" of caligula. they have both versions in there, plus numerous interviews with people from the film explaining their experiences and why it all went haywire. helen is on the audio commentary!
