featherxquill | (no subject)

I was just looking at this journal entry from last year, not long after I started blogging. While I was incredibly pre-menstrual when I wrote that entry, most of the things I said were how I was feeling, if not quite so melodramatically, for the most part.

I'm glad I didn't delete it, because such things let you realise just how much you've changed.

Part of it probably WAS because I wasn't eighteen and didn't drive, and part of it probably was just working, and doing nothing else.

It makes me stop and realise how greatful I am now, to be at uni and feel like I have a direction. Next time I bitch about having uni work to do, somebody slap me and remind me how I felt when I was working four hours at a toy store then going home, and having no life.

I'm having fun now, I'm going somewhere, and I'm happy about it.
