A very nice piece of writing; your style is simply beautiful. My parents are in the process of divorcing at the moment, though it's been a long time coming. I guess it's very different experiencing the divorce of one's parents at a younger age. I'm seventeen now, and I guess the major difference is kind of what you outlined in the last paragraph of your piece: children don't need to understand, but once you get older you *have* to start understanding things. I wonder which way is harder???
