Dude, LOL

This is the trailer for the 'remake' of Caligula (put together for a joke at some film festival). Featuring Helen!

What amuses me the most is that it's only slightly more outrageous than the actual HBO series, Rome, which owns my soul.

:D

Bwahaha. And Benicio Del Toro with the little gay dog. :)

How awesome is Rome then? And how hot is Caesar?

Oh, it is most certainly made of awesome. Caesar is amazing, though I must confess to being even more obsessed with Atia and Servilia.

It's the kind of show I'd love to write fic for, but then, there's not much point, because what's left for there to write when it's so full of sex and violence and drama anyway? ;)

I love how it's utterly authentic in the lack of Christian moral codes. Both Servilia and Atia are kick-ass AND not necessarily bad people by their standards, which makes me love them even more. And everything's so GORGEOUS. *licks show*

Atia is so... deliciously perverse, I suppose. Completely selfish and manipulative. I adore her. She is the kind of characer that should be AU femslashed with Rita Skeeter, or something, because wow that would be hot until they killed each other.

Servilia's bitterness and transformation from sort and loving to cruel and spiteful just killed me. And, you know, cross-generational femslash? Yes, please. I agree with a sentiment I recall from your journal - Lindsay Duncan should have lesbian sex much more often.

Can you believe they AXED this wonderful piece of entertainment after three episodes here? You see what I have to put up with, and why I loved Europe so? Stupid conservative Australian public. Thank Gods our home PC likes torrents (my laptop doesn't). My darling brother (as I will refer to him when he actually does what I want) downloaded it for me so I wouldn't die from the lack.
