Seattle!

Hello all,

I'm in Seattle with ooh_blah_blah and her flatmates and it's Very Fun Times. No, I'm not much of a tourist, so while I have been marvelling at the prettiness of the city and enjoying going out, I have little desire to see the things one is 'supposed' to see in this city. Actually, I don't even know what they are, aside from the Space Needle, which I might go to if I can find my way there today. Or I might just go wander around the U District again and drink more white coffee and visit Marina in her secondhand bookstore that also has cats.

We went sailing the other day, like, really sailing - WITH SAILS - on Lake Union, and it was sosososo beautiful. On Saturday we went to Vancouver and visited the museum and wandered around a lot. Yesterday, OOTP on IMAX, which was adjdgghgdfhjsgsfgsfsdfgshjshgsfdsdsgshsjs YAYE. I have to say, I loved it. Evanna and Imelda and omg Filch. I can't be arsed doing a spoiler cut so I shall not say much. Emma's eyebrows need to die. The last twenty minutes were in 3D, which was AWESOMESOCKS.

I have one more day here and then I'm flying to Minneapolis to meet chibitoaster, after which we will drive to Lincoln to see cocohufflepuffs.

Oooh, Seattle. I loved Seattle. And Portland, OR. And San Francisco. Oh, man, I'm so getting homesick--even though I lived in the southwest, so many of my friends lived in NoCal and the Pacific Northwest it felt like a second home.

Have a great vacation, and think of poor me in the boring Middle States....

OMGZ! HA HA HA I SO AGREE DIE EYE BROWS DIE! yeah it was pretty fucking amazing though! Kingsley was SO funny and tonks mood ring hair WTF?! but there was total sirius/remus fan service so I was so so happy

And yes, the Remus/Sirius was rather good, but nowhere near as overwhelmingly blatant as the Snarry.

Really, the way Kings looks is full of WTFery, even just in the trailers. And if there's R/S in there, then I'm going to have to rethink my decision not to see it.

Some bastards have leaked the REAL Deathly Hallows online because some blasted bookstore decided to sell it early. So, anywhere you go online except for the major sites basically contains potential spoilers.

I will keep my eyes shut and my ears plugged.
