Um...

WHY, if Warner Bros have released a full cast list for HBP, has Rufus Scrimgeour not been cast?

WHY?

Come ON, WB. Stephen Rea!

I HAVE BEEN ASKING THE SAME THING. >.<

While in some ways it might be merciful, just... NO, DAMNIT, NO.

GRAH.

And ye-es, once you'd mentioned the Rea-possibility, hadn't been so very opposed, at all... Bahstahds.

*sigh*

I had been so looking forward to seeing who they chose to play Rufus, and how he would be portrayed on film. I just don't see how they can possibly not mention there being a new Minister when there was such an emphasis on Fudge's incompetency in OOTP.

Also, I was kind of looking forward to seeing what effect movie!Scrimgeour would have on my growing fondness for the idea of Rita/Rufus.

(btw, tell August Strindberg that he should check his (is he a he?) friend requests on facebook :P)

It would've been terribly interesting, if nothing else. Am sure I'd have bitched and such about it, but cutting Rufus? NOT COOL, GUYS. NOT COOL. Need Rufus to come in and be all OUT, FUDGE. NOW.

Holy hell. Rufus and Rita on screen in the same movie would both make Rufus-in-the-brain angry and amuse the fuck out of me. YES.

All I can say is that if they do some wierd-ass blending of Fudge with Rufus-who-is-RAD, there will be blood.

(Holy shit. XD *applause* Ehehehe. Facebook isn't a safe place... And this is not helping my not making a facebook for Rufus vow. Also, Strindberg would like to somewhat defensively note that he is a man, through and through.)

Maybe they left him out? Be horrible if they did.
