My friend just messaged me to tell me. I replied 'what? bloody hell!' and she messaged back 'I really think crikey would have been more appropriate'. To which I had to snerk. Australian humour for you.
The poor guy. His poor wife and kids. I think all of Australia has rolled their eyes at some point and said 'it's going to kill him one day'. Kind of a nation-wide moment of awkward foot-shuffling now that it's actually happened.
Just heard on the radio that apparently his wife is trekking in Tasmania and doesn't know yet.
At least he died doing what he loved.

Ahem but yeah his poor kids. He was filming a segment for his daughters new show..poor girl! It still hasn't sunken in that hes actually DEAD.
