Sick and bored
Jan. 15th, 2009 03:05 pmGah, I'm ill.
Chest infection, ear infection, among other fun things, At least the fever seems to be gone now.
Have you ever noticed how goddam BORING it is so be home sick? I mean, I'm doing, these last few days, the same things I usually do on my days off, but it's just like... I don't know. Probably it's bring because I can't do anything else. Also it's too hot to even sit out the back, so I'm stuck in the house.
I've read 'Stardust' and am about three quarters of the way through James McGee's 'Ressurectionist'. Seriously, the Matthew Hawkwood series needs to be made into films. It's very filmic, and the kind of story fangirls would probably cream their pants over. Hawkwood is a Runner in Regency era London, he is ex-military and gruff, has a scar under one eye and his hair in a ponytail and he wears long coats and steps on people's toes, and seriously more people should read this series, because it's very enjoyable and easy to read, even if occasionally predictable and/or amusing because Hawkwood is so badass.
Also I've watched rather a lot of Charmed, which I rcecently decided I felt like revisiting. Yet to see whether I'll go past the fourth season, though, because that was when I stopped watching it because it started to get crap.
Annd that's about all, aside from the intermittent coughing fits. Are you people doing exciting things?
