I've never even remotely considered this pairing before, but I was flitting around your LJ (seeing as I just got your email about my fandom journey) and couldn't help myself. And ooh, am I glad I clicked on the link. Because this is MY Severus - more than a bit nasty, curious as a cat, and oh so unapologetically Slytherin. I never considered Rita as a pairing choice (mainly because you NEVER see her in fic), but your Rita works so perfectly. I love that she's older than he is, but has such a tight-focused mind. I shudder to think what Severus could do to her if he ever felt the need to teach her Legilimency - could be just the thing her career needs, come to think of it.
All that characterization and some deliciously good smut? I think I'll be hanging around here for a while.
