I have a bunny rabbit in my room.
No, really.
When I went to pick the brother up from work, it was bounding all over the road like a lunatic. Clearly tame, since I got out of the car and got within a foot of it. When I got Brett home, I went back and caught it. Didn't want it to wander (hop?) near the main road and get hurt.
Hopefully I can find his home tomorrow. Poor little guy. He just ate some lettuce, though, and doesn't seem to bothered by being in one of the little cages we put the cats in when they go to the vet. Have kept the cats well away. Anyone have any special bunny-care tips?

Date: 2006-10-16 03:27 pm (UTC)Thankyou! :D He's really cute and caramel coloured and he sniffed my face before and tickled me with his whiskers.
But I do rather hope I can find his people in the morning.

So as far as advice goes, I'd say...cuddles? My weird baby liked doc leaves (or however you spell that, you know, the big leaves that stop nettle stings hurting so much).

And unless your cats are of the mean killer kind I wouldn't worry too much. I used to have a cat who spent a whole night in my rabbit's stable because I didn't see it jump in, and when I got her out the next day, she jumped right back in. The rabbit was, erhm, "exited" to see her back. I won't go into further detail. Let's just say the rabbit was male and the cat wasn't.
