My wisdom teeth are no more.

I had to be at the hospital at 7am, and ended up waiting 5 sodding hours for my turn. I suppose, at least by then, any nerves I did have (I'm not particularly prone to prolonged nerves - or indeed excitement, which is somethimes a good thing and sometimes bad) had given way to complete and utter boredom.

The local they gave my mouth is starting to wear off - annoyingly enough, from back to front. My jaw is starting to ache, but my tongue and my bottom lip are still rather numb. -_-

Ugh.

At least I have full cream ice-cream. And jelly!

UGH! is right!

I know how you feel! Thankfully all of mine were taken out like 6 years ago. I had never had a tooth pulled, so I didn't know what to expect.

Swish with warm salt water twice a day (for infection). Jello and Broth work too.

Isn't that numbness crazy!?! Drove me nuts!

OUCH! Sorry about the teeth, and the pain. And you got a local? Wow, they just knocked me completely out! I remember that pain tho', but the ice cream is the best part! *Sending plenty of ice cream and hugs*

Oh, I got knocked out. But they gave my mouth a local as well to keep it numb for longer. Took hours to wear off, which I suppose was a good thing, except when it had worn off at the back but not at the front.

Getting better, though! mmm icecream

Oh, OK, I thought that was a bit odd if you only got a local for that procedure lol.

Ick that it wore off like that. My face was swollen for 2 weeks, and I couldn't eat a thing. I hope you are doing better than I was! Glad you're getting better!
