I Have Returned.

Back in Sydney. Read DH. Have been devouring the fandom explosion with gusto. I think I'll make own posts with comments shortly, but I want to do this one separately so no one who hasn't read will be spoiled.
Okay, so, I don't take that many photos. I take enough, but not... heaps. That's just me, I suppose. And, well, I was *with* people this time, so I had less desire to take photos of random shit like I did in London to send home to everyone. But there are some, and here they are!
My days in Seattle were mostly spent at Sureshot cafe and visiting Marina in her bookstore with cats and dinner out in the evening with her and her flatmates. Who are all awesome. A little tourist, but not much. Oh and I forgot to take my camera with me to Vancouver, because I fail.
Sailing:

Cute, random little boat.

Sails! We helped put them up and... stuff. Twas awesome. Or, you know, I took photos of them while Mike and Zach put them up. Something like that, anyway ;)

This is Lake Union, and that is the Space Needle, which I never did go up because it was foggy the two days I might have done.

Marina dislikes this photo. Angie doesn't care ;).

Me! Standing with water under my feet. Yaye.

Out and about in Seattle:

Part of the outside of the Music Experience Museum. Went to it and the Sci Fi Musuem. Both were cool, but the latter is quite possibly the geekiest place on earth. We were so in our element. :D

With Mike under some random sculpture near the museum.

With Sarah er, in the sculpture, apparently.
Minneapolis Zoo:

I got to go here quite randomly, really. Rana's students were drawing here and she was supervising, so I got to poke around. Twas cool. I should have taken a photo of the wolves, cos they were awesome.

Greenhouse.
Nebraska:

Rita Skeeter, Gilderoy Lockhart and Big Scary Deatheater Avery. Obviously ;). Me, Rana and Coco respectively.

Rita and Gilderoy are quite possibly the shiniest people on earth.
Rana's Gilderoy won the costume contest for being so amazingly IC (you can't see it in the pictures, but there's still a curler in 'his' hair - even though Gilderoy's curls are totalluy natural!). People asked me for photos all night, which my inner Rita believes is only natural, of course. I, however, think it's probably more to do with Rana's mad skillz making me that amazing jacket :D.
Personally, I think we should have won the Biggest Geeks award for all going to the book release as our
stoatshead_hill characters. :P

Coco's cats are such lesbians. Srsly. :P

Coco doesn't like photos. But
celtmama made us promise to take some, so here they are!

You can thank my stealth camera skillz for this one. Hard to hide one's face when one has an armful of cat ;)

Er, OOC Gildery? That is Gilderoy's brand new 'sparkly love wand'. No, you really don't want to ask. :P

Awwwwwww.
And Then Back In Seattle:

Random picture I took at the University of Washington, while lying in the grassafter attempting to write some post-DH Snita fic and finding that my muse couldn't be arsed doing anything in such lovely sun.

It's Foamy! Feel his squirrely wrath! ... Well, maybe, if you squint. Seriously, watching squirrels frolicking around will never get old for me.
Last night in Seattle, in which Marina and I decide we should really take some pictures of ourselves.

And, as they say, that's all, folks! I don't want to be home just yet! Holidays are always over too fast.
