Finally, Mr. McKellen answers a question long debated in this and the LotR fandom: Who would win if there was a battle between Gandalf and Dumbledore. “McKellen puffs out his chest. “Gandalf. Of course.”

LOL. I'm more inclined to think they'd end up having sweaty angry!sex against the nearest wall. Since, you know, Dumbledore is apparently fairly attracted to other powerful wizards with whom he has battles, and Ian's Gandalf, like Magneto all Ian's other characters, is probably gay with oodles of UST with rivals.

McKellen is an idiot. He can't overcome his grudge against Harris because Harris named him once a "passionless bore". It obviously was a hit home. ;->
