I just did a bit of f-list spring cleaning. I've never done one before, so it was badly in need of it. Mostly defunct journals and the like, or people who update in languages I can't read, etc etc.

I could have made a few mistakes, though. I didn't mean to unfriend anyone who doesn't want to be unfriended, so please let me know if I removed you and you'd like to stay :).

That said, while I'm cleaning up, if anyone has changed interests or whatever, and would like to defriend me, feel free to do so now. I promise not to get my feelings hurt :)

So... looks like I wasn't around when you did this, but uhh... as long as you're still into HP and RP and all those crazy things you were before... I dunno, want to friend back? It seems with the demise of GJ comes scrambling back to the LJ homefront. Maybe. Angi/e's have to stick together, right?

Sorry this took me so long to reply to. I kinda... faded off the planet for a while.

Basically, GJ's dying. System is giving up on the site and telling everyone to move on. It's... depressing, really. I just came off this AMAZING game that's like a high and addiction I'll never want to get rid of....

So yeah, looking for new places to game now. Like LJ or IJ. Just don't know where to jump in, y'know? And the only 'old' character I'd want to maybe play again is Ron now with you-know-who-Weasley's death. (I played Katie and shipped her with ...him. Killed me.) Anyroad, found out I forgot to add you back as well; just did that a couple days ago. Hope to hear from you soon (cause I've got that itching nerve to want to ask Lara if I can revive the ol' Merlin's Legacy plot again, but do it right this time with a little less focus on the shippy.)

Hey! Sorry it took me so long to reply to this comment :).

I heard about GJ, witnessed a bit of it for myself. I created a journal for RP PB icons over here, then tried to make a new account at GJ to post links to said pics at pb_updates over there, and it wouldn't let me create a new one. 5 icons, too. Sad state of affairs, and it makes me very sad for all the people who rp'd over there. What is happening to your games over there? Are they closing or moving?

As far as RPs on LJ go (I have an IJ account but I don't really use it except to comment on fics posted over there and such, though I suppose I should back up my fics over there at some point, in case LJ goes on another deleting spree at any point), I can't really recommend any except the ones I am involved in. road_ahead is a post-DH game that started a bit over a month ago, and the Mods there are great. If you like the sound of the game, you should think about applying. We really need a Kingsley Shacklebolt or a Gawain Robards, but anyone not taken is available, and still-at-Hogwarts students are being sought after as well.

Part of me is interested in the idea of a post-feminist revolution take on the ML plot. Like, based on it but attempting to rebuild the world after some sort of drastic change. We'd have the backstory, after all. But I don't know. SHH is probably closing in a few months, and I think I might like to stick with one game for a while and maybe write more fic as well. I hardly wrote any fic last year.

Do you have YIM, btw? I'm hardly ever on AIM these days, partly because my Vista computer hates it and partly because my RP buddies all use YIM. I'm goat_with_a_breadknife there, if you have it.

Says the game started '0ct 17th', that's definitely well over a month ago. ;D But I'll give it a look. I've actually been wanting to try an idea in the back of my mind for Madame Rosmerta somewhere, where she's based on the lyrics to {{ this song (http://www.cowboylyrics.com/lyrics/green-pat/baby-doll-14538.html) }}, but I have no idea where to put that. :\ As for Kingsley and Gawain... I will never be able to play Gawain ANYWHERE thanks to my friend Cody. Never. It would be completely insignificant and WRONG, at least in my mind. I'd try to copy cat.

Anyroad... I have an IJ too, and a Scribbld, and a CJ, just to cover my bases. I'm still not sure where I'll make my permanent home (both for CDJ/journal and an icons one I've wanted to make for a while), but for now I'm parked at LJ. For games... that major awesome one I mentioned ended on Halloween and I dropped the only other game I was in back at the start of December. It was also a game where it was just trying to figure out where to go from the end of the war, and I got bored with that easy, so I'm not sure if I'll join up with RA or not, but like I said, I'll give it a look. But I have found two games I'd like to join, and have two game ideas I'd like to start sometime before the HP phenomenon completely fizzles. fairlytalesrpg transfered over from GJ (I've got a hold on Beast and want either the Ballerina from 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier' or 'Molly Pitcher' next) and my friends are starting up an HP one called lostrelicsrpg starting February (I'm transfering my Katie Bell's personality into S. Capper, and want to hold Ron and try Royden Poke as a werewolf!) So basically I've taken about a two-month break from gaming. I'm ready to jump back in full-throttle!

Speaking further along about an ML-type game, I'd like a revitalizing type idea, with minor changes, and actually I think I'd still like it to be while the kiddies were stuck at school. The idea of rebuilding games after something bad happens, that's all over the place. I think I like the 'in the midst of the war' type ones. But hell, who says Lara would even give us permission? Or that if she did the game would have to start right away, y'know? (Okay, maybe I just wanna be able to use Rupert Grint for Ron back before the boy got a sense of finally growing up, or I'm just trying to hang on to some bit of the past I'm missing.) Other than that, I've got an idea for a completely AU world, set Harry's 6th Year, focusing more on Sirius falling through the Veil to this AU world. Yes, I worked on that even way back in the day with ML in play.

Okay this response is long enough. I've added you to YIM (travelsizedtwix), but my main system is still AIM (same SN as YIM, btw). But I do keep YIM on to get email updates, so it shouldn't be too hard to catch one another I hope. Gonna shut up now and get back to working on apps.
