Leslie Manville was on Law and Order: UK! *\o/*
Aside from the regular cast being awesome, I think the best thing about this show is that it will allow elevnty-one OTHER awesome British actors on to play guest roles, like when people like Jane Seymour, Dixie Carter and Bebe Neuwirth pop up in the US versions.
And who can argue with the awesome of that?

Date: 2009-03-10 01:09 pm (UTC)And Michele Pawk has been a different character in FIVE episodes of the U.S. Law & Order over the years.
I haven't watched the British one yet but was just talking to someone last night about how I like the U.S. one because of it being filmed in New York so they bring in Broadway actors who don't usually appear on tv much as they'd have to be based in L.A.

Date: 2009-03-11 04:59 pm (UTC)God, I love how the UK version has humour. I was hoping for that. I love the US version too, but the US cops are all so SRS BZNS, and I thought if the Brit cops were like that I might have to throw things at my screen because Not On.
Anyway!
someone elseI found this (http://www.labutaca.net/films/66/la-joven-victoria-foto24.php) just now! *\o/*Do you think Harriet's charries is all like BUT MY TRAIN IS LONGER THAN YOURS SO YOU LOSE ?

Date: 2009-03-11 05:07 pm (UTC)I love the humour too. It's very much something these people would have in their daily work. You need humour (and I love that it's Natalie who often gets the funny lines *beams*) I adore the dynamic of Matt & Ronnie (so funny, so married), and their rapport with their boss.
ZOMG THAT PHOTO (thank you for bringing it to my attention! ohgod ohgod look at her <3) Ahahahaha, oh she totally is! Adelaide is definitely all "I'm Queen and my train is longer than yours, so even though you are Miranda, you lose."
