2. What is it that you desire most? Understanding.
3. What is your idea of perfect happiness? Waking up in a warm, cuddly bed at midday on a Saturday morning, with breakfast waiting for me, to find my lover flicking through one of my novels and waiting for me to wake, smiling when he sees me.
4. What is your most marked characteristic? Creativity.
5. Who is your favourite hero of fiction? Just one? Never. Lestat De Lioncourt, Severus Snape, Faelamor, Maigraith, Charlie Parker, Medeoan. Some of those are anti heroes. No, actually, all of them are.
6. What is that you most dislike in yourself? My tendency to judge people, as much as I try not to because I hate that characteristic in my mother and my aunt, which is no doubt where I got it from.
7. What is your motto? I have taken the opening lyrics of Creed song as my tome - "This is not about age. Time served on the earth doesn't mean you grow in mind."
8. What is your greatest extravagance? My decadent palette. I will eat anything expensive. Beware saying you'll pay for dinner.
9. What character from a book do you most identify yourself with? I don't read to find characters that I identify with, I read to understand how other minds think. I identify mostly with the characters I create myself. Helen Davey, 'The Fabsome Sixum'...
