Home Alone
Jun. 13th, 2004 03:31 pmWell, I am home alone. Two nights out of the three have elapsed, and I think I could get used to this. No, no parties, none of that cliche bullshit, just plenty of basking in relaxation and quietness, or loud music whenever I want.
I hired two movies last night - "Secratary" and "Hypnotic". Both were rather good, though both were quite strange. 'Secratary' could really only be described as an S&M love story, while 'Hypnotic' was a pscychological thriller, really. Murder story, with that supernatural sort of twist. It featured Fiona Shaw, done up to look about 80-90 years old, being very very creepy. Never seen her in a role like that before. But then, the only things I have seen her in are 'Harry Potter' and 'Three Men And A Little Lady', so I suppose I can't say much.
I put a load of washing on this morning, had to figure out how to use the washing machine (that is very bad, I know), but I managed. Nearly put a pair of shorts with a packet of tissues in the machine - fecking brother.
As of this morning, I have an ENTIRE POA movie pin collection - I almost despaired when I headed to the newsagents yesterday and it was CLOSED. I had ten out of 11, and the only one left was McGonagall. Nice newsagent. He gave me it this morning. Or sold me it. Whatever.
My laptop is working - in some sense - following tea spillage onto its keyboard twice in a week. The battery doesnt seem to be charging, though, which is a worry. I think I will have to get it looked at. Whats the point in a laptop with no battery?
I bought a bottle of caramel mudslide last night, its quite odd. Not as good as the chocolate. Ah, well, I guess I'll drink it.
I am going to have ANOTHER bath tonight. With the door open. Muahahahaha!
