I had my last shift today.
I didn't jump for joy when I left, though, because it felt so very strange to swipe out for the last time (at leat for six months), to be saying 'see ya' to people and know I was lying. I'm happy, but it's an uncertain, surreal sort of happiness.
I can't believe I'll be in England in ten days.
I plan on updating
quillsabroad with a pre-departure entry before I go, and I'm in the process of compiling a mailing list of people to send my stories to, and notices that my abroad journal has been updated. If you're interested in being on the mailing list, drop me a comment. Chris, Elisabeth, Natalie, Marquise, you're all already on it. Anyone else, leave your email here, or send me one at featherxquill@livejournal.com.
I'll probably be on AIM/MSN a bit later on - spending the night at Dad's - but for anyone I don't speak to on chat, have an absolutely wonderful Christmas!
