Forgot to Post Yesterday

Enh. So I guess I failed. Hardly had time yesterday. Got up a few hours before work and then went to bed a few hours after I got home, so there wasn't much else in the way of day.

Whatever. I'll keep up with it. Perhaps I'll try and post again today, though I doubt anything interesting will happen at work, really.

Co-worker that I sorta-kinda had a massive crush on for a while but am now mostly over just got back from her holiday to Greece. She has family and a property there, and she was all 'well I want to go back in 2010. If you're still around here, you should come with me'. Which made me go ahdfhafhsjshjsksh. Because I'm sure she didn't mean it like that (her sons are my age), and bloody hell, I hope I'm not still at the supermarket in 2010, and like I said, mostly over it. But gah. Damn it if I didn't get a few ideas.

I went to see The Duchess with my Mummy today. I really enjoyed it, despite my misgivings about Keira Knightley. She was rather good, and the performance wasn't really the same as it has been in every other film I've seen her in. I swear she just kept playing Elizabeth Swann in movie after movie for a while there, but she seems to have moved on now. Ralph Fiennes was also really awesome, as usual, and the costumes and soundtrack were gorgeous. Not to mention, Hayley Atwell, where have you been all my life? Busy being only four years older than me? Well, okay then.

Also the story was rather good, and it made me rage and cry.

I think we're seeing Brideshead Revisited next week, or soon at least. Because yaye Emma Thompson, and a bit of digging around shows me that Hayley Atwell is in that as well, so it will be interesting to see her in something else and compare.

Now I think I'll have a nap before work, because I went to bed at 3 and got up at 9 and I have to work until 12:30 again.
