The Australian federal election. We finally got our result - two weeks after our hung parliament - and I am pleased with the result.

Nothing is ever perfect, of course, but I feel much better represented by our unmarried, female, atheist, left-leaning Prime Minister than by her opponent.

Add to that that she's a redhead in power suits and I honestly maybe have a little bit of a crush on her ;)
