A few people have added me in the last few days, which is a pleasant surprise! Some of you seem to be on ledivinemarquis's flist, and perhaps followed her rec of my fic. But however you got here, welcome!

Had kind of a scare today. Tried to take money out of an ATM, and it said my PIN was wrong. Knew this was bullshit, so tried in two other ATMs. ATM ate my creit card. Had minor heart attack. Thought maybe my other ATM card would be the same, and that I would be stuck in a foreign country with only 25 pounds in my wallet. Walked back to room, to get said card, making mental plans for the worst. Got card. Went to ATM. It worked. Breathed twelve sighs of relief. Whew. Nothing like ABSOLUTE PANIC to make you forget you haven't had any food, until 3pm.

Fuck you, bank.

Bleah. I hate it when that happens. God only knows how you can really try to get it back. Wander round to the bank that owns the machine and wave your passport at them, I suppose.

Bank lady said the machines weren't theirs, and the cards would be destroyed. Guess I've gotta get a new from my bank, and get Mum to mail it over. *sigh*
