I want to change my layout, I've had this one for months. I want to keep flexi squares but put a header in instead of a side picture. S2 doesn't give me that option, but I HAVE seen people with headers and flexi squares, so I wonder if anyone knows how I can do that? Would i have to use S1 or is there a way I can do it in S2?

Hah! Why work when others have done the work for you?

And much better and more understandable that I ever could have done...

Here's how you create a Theme Layer (http://community.livejournal.com/s2howto/25272.html)

And here (http://community.livejournal.com/s2howto/36903.html)'s how you put a header code into the theme layer.

If you need help just poke my LJ...

I so rule teh netses!!! I was looking for a way to put a header inside the boxes in flex-squares - I use the design for [livejournal.com profile] daily_deviant when I found those tutorials. They seem very good and thorough, and the way they suggest to put the header over the entries is so much smarter than the one I used originally.
