The Scold's Bridle is freakin' fantastic. Such a different role to the ones Miranda usually plays. I kind of like the warm fuzzy side to her acting :D.

Also, I really, really wish that had been on DVD rather than VHS, both so I could burn it and keep it for always, and because I would love to have taken some screencaps of the hottness that is Sian Phillips. I think I might have had a crush on her before I even knew what crushes were, when I saw Heidi as a kid, and this just confirms it. Voice. Sadistic, evil bitch in a satin robe with legs that I would kill for? MMMM. Yes. Anyway.

I agree- get "I Claudius" as fast as you possibly can. I've only seen a few of the episodes, but it's well worth the watch, particularly for a Sian Phillips fan.

OMG, she is simply lovely and I need to know more about her! I haven't heard of her.....what is my problem!?! I must go look her up because she is gorgeous and looks too adorble for words.

Was that a criminal mini-series? Because I remember it advertised...
