featherxquillOh dear God. I just went outside, and the Christmas lights on the house at the end of our street are obscene. There is, like, a dangly, flashy thing in EVERY CREVICE POSSIBLE, and a gargantuan blow up Santa standing in the front yard.

You know what I want? I want a Christmas light of this icon. I wonder how much that would cost. I would SO pay for something like that.

Date: 2006-12-08 07:06 pm (UTC)My boss lives in on of those streets where nearly everyone is entered in the Christmas lights competition, yet he had two stock standard plain lights in his front garden. The neighbours start planning early in the year, and there are tourist busses that stop in his street! No parties at his house -- there is nowhere to park for miles.
All I ever think about is that scene in the National Lampoon Christmas Vacation movie -- the entire neighbourhood has no power!
