In case you are wondering, pay no mind to the title. I just have a thing for having one auto save for each letter. And that was what I thought of. Google 'buffy swears' if you want to know where it came from. I can't be arsed to find the page and link it.
It's been ages since I actually did a real entry in this thing. Thought I might. You know, chat about myself for a bit, and actually use this as a journal instead of posting random bullshit.
For anyone reading The Muggle Experience, I'm working on the latest/last chapter. I'm thinking the latter. That was how I planned it anyway. So unless some huge plot bunny attacks me sometimes soon with an insatiable urge to make it into something long, it will probably be short and insane. I'm slightly stuck at the moment because I've written something two pages in that is probably the pinnacle of the chapter - certainly I don't think that anything is really going to top it, and I'd like there to be more, so I'm trying to find places where other things fit in.
I've just started Uni, by the way, anyone I chat to regularly knows about it. Bachelor of Media in Writing. I've had two lectures and a tute. I love it so far. Meeting heaps of new people and all sorts of stuff. Very fun. Met another Angela, too. She's in my culture unit. Don't often meet other Angela's.
Had lunch with my old extension English teacher last weekend. Can't BELIEVE it's been two years since I finished high school. Freaks me out. I'm nearly nineteen. Next year I'll bloody be TWENTY. Wtf? Twenty sounds so much OLDER than eighteen.
Saw 'My House In Umbria'. It was wonderful. Funny, sad, moving, powerful, richly visual. Not to mention a wonderfully large fix of a wonderful actress. Who I have seen LIVE. God, I love to be able to think that. At one point in my life, I was less than one hundred metres away from one of Britains grande dames of the cinema. It's kind of a big thing for someone from this little pokey hole at the bottom of the world. :P
My original fiction has been put a little on the back burner because of all the fanfiction plot bunnies. I just don't think it is possible to write original work, write fanfic AND role play, all at the same time. I seem to channel one at a time. Feh. I'm sure I'll get back to Rasputin the shadow-demon-angel-thing, soon. Have to research Egypt and it's myths, so that's probably one of the reasons I've left it sitting untouched for a time. I'm so lazy.
Reading Clive Barker. He's amazing. Just read Tad Williams. He's amazing, too. Will have to get my hands on 'River Of Blue Fire' SOON.
Anyway. I worked ten-and-three-quarter hours today (EXACTLY enough for no overtime. Sodding Australian workplace agreement. Sodding Toys R Us), I'm totally rooted. I start uni at ten tomorrow, so I'll have to be up at 8. Must go to sleep.
