I served a customer last night whose name was Orange Cheerful. No, really. It was on his credit card. He was about three hundred years old and talked pretty much all the way through the transaction, but he talked so quiet and fast that I barely caught three words of it. He was indeed cheerful, if rather incoherent.

I wonder if his parents named him that, or if he changed it to that at some point during his life. The only reason I could imagine someone doing that was if they were, like, a clown or something, and wanted an authentic stage name.

I'm sure the Cheerful family named him "Orange" out of spite, so that when he and his classmates began to sing the "Name Game" they'd get stuck.

Lol, that name rocks :) I remember looking at my family tree dating back to 1700 or so that we did have a few Orange's That name seriously needs to come back into fashion :p
