Iiiiiiinteresting, flist. Verrrry interesting. Last time I did the 'who is the best actress' poll, the result was very firmly in favour of Maggie Smith. This time, the results were much closer, with Judi Dench sliding first over the finish line by one vote.

So Judi Dench shall be Queen until I think to do this again in another three years, I guess *g*.

And now, the chickfight. Well, to be honest, I kind of knew this would happen. In this, at least, flist, you are adorably predictable.

Not now, though. Now I really am curious to see who comes out on top. So. The second and final round. We can presume that Minerva has her wand and her wits, and M has an assortment of awesome M16 gadgets and weaponry. I will presume, since she beat the trained assassin, that you all think she does indeed knpw how to use them.

Kickass Witch vs. Spymistress

[Poll #1561181]

Feel free to debate. Once again, the answer 'the would not fight, they'd shag' is not a valid response unless demonstrated via fanfic.

I just couldn't vote in the actress poll -- I honestly can't decide who is the best actress. Maggie is the one I like best just from the fangirl standpoint, but in terms of talent, I can't pick one. In a McGonagall contest, though. . .well, as far as I'm concerned, it's no contest at all.

See, the problem with this is that it's not a fair fight. McGonagall wins because she's got magic - she can take one look at M's gun, conjure a bullet-repelling field, and then take her out with a wave of her wand. If M had magic, it'd be a tough call; if McGonagall could only use human weapons, M would obviously win.

Clearly, the answer is - they team up and rule the universe together.

M manages Bond, McG manages a school. Nuff said.

Only really because I think Magic pwns ordinary life, even though it has all the science and technology.

You seriously make me wish I had more time.

All right, let's approach this scientifically.

Representation in film:
1:0 for M. Granted, Maggie Smith makes the most of what little screen time she gets, but not even that can make up for how they've practically written Minerva out of the films.

Representation on paper:
1:0 for Minerva. "Tripe, Sybill?" 'Nuff said.

Who-would-win-if-the-actress-didn't-matter?
Definitely 1:0 for Minerva.

So I suppose it's 2:1 for Minerva. But they could still shag.
