That's Billy Connolly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Connolly)! He's quite a famous Scottish comedian (he's well known here in Australia, anyway, which I always presume means 'quite famous' to have made his way into the public heart here, although I know this is not always the case). He's done films - most famously 'Her Majesty: Mrs Brown' with Judi Dench - but you might have seen him in ING Bank ads? (although Wiki says they don't operate in Denmark? IDK)
I've seen the Lemony Snickett film, so that must be it. Or maybe he's just got one of those faces, you know. But no you're right, we don't have that bank here and therefore not the adds either. I'm not sure we've got any banks in Denmark that aren't danish banks...
