Oct. 31st, 2005 03:18 pm1. What are you going to see/do while you're in the UK?
Well, I haven't qute figured that out yet, entirely. I know I definitely want to see Judi Dench in the theatre (because she'd doing a show in April) and I would very much love to catch the ferry to Amsterdam one weekend, and also go to Paris while I'm so close. On the list of things to 'do' - I very much look forward to cities full of British men and women to admire ;) I'll be dead of the accent within a few days *loves*.
2. What's more fun: making icons or writing fanfic?
I really would have to say fic, even though it makes me wildly happy to see people using and enjoying my icons. I think my writing is better than my image-making skills, really, and while I think my icons have progressed to 'good', I put everything I have into each piece of writing and I hope that shows when people read it.
3. If you could go on a holiday for a month with all expenses paid for, where would it be?
Europe, most definitely. I'd do everything with all expenses paid - stay in the most decadent hotels, eat at all the expensive places - but I'd stay off the coach tours and explore on my own. I have this image of riding around back alleys on bicycles ;)
4. Career opportunities: junior upholsterer in Hamm's Yacht Upholstery or junior secret service agent reporting directly to M?
Oh, secret service, please, sign me up now!! As much as I adore the image of Newfoundland as it is painted in The Shipping News, I really don't think it would be a place I could live. I'd be the young assistant trying to get out of the town and make a life elsewhere, if I were there. It would be somewhere I'd love to go on holidays, to sit and trink tea and whiskey and smile secretly about what Mavis and Agnis are trying to hide that I see right through. But secret service in a James Bond-like universe? Yes please! Slinking around being a spy, playing with gadgets and interacting with suave villains - very tasty. And unlike Bond, who is quite the fool, I think I'd use the oppourtuity to ADORE M completely. After all, to be Bond's boss means she's done everything he has, and then some. I'd know what was REALLY going on between her and Miss Moneypenny, and I'd slink in there too and join them.
If you want to play, comment and I'll ask you some!

1. Are there things you miss about living in New Zealand?
2. You are offered one wild, consequence free night of passion with EITHER Minerva McGonagall or Xiomara Hooch. Who do you choose? (yes I am ebil) Why?
3. If you were a breakfast cereal, which woud you be?
4. What are your first impressions of HP fandom?

Date: 2005-11-01 09:30 pm (UTC)2. I'd say, "No, thank you, not my style." But if it were my style, then Hooch for the wild, consequence-free night of passion -- but McGonagall for an actual relationship. I probably have more in common with someone of her generation than someone of my own!
3. I don't eat breakfast cereal, so I probably wouldn't be one. The most I ever eat is... oh, God, another one for question 1: I used to eat orange and lemon Fruitli muesli bars for breakfast in New Zealand, because I could hold one in my left hand while I was putting on makeup with my right hand. They were good. I've never found anything in America to match them.
4. As I haven't yet strayed outside this little corner of it, I can hardly speak to the fandom as a whole. But what I've seen, I like. It's more literate than I expected. When I told my best friend where I was playing, she said I would be like Boadicea among the pygmies, but I'm not so sure. ;)
