Actually, I just re read Chris' blog from yesterday, and it has put me in a cynical writing mood. I should go and work on the Snape scene in my fanfiction, what a perfect frame of mind for it.
Bah. Inspiration alludes me.
I bought Pirates Of The Caribbean on DVD today. Some delicious eye candy that I haven't yet had the chance to feast upon.
I made a chocolate cake this morning. For my brother. It had shitloads of icing and the best ever cream in the middle. It was good *burp*
Actually, I am stuck with the fanfic I am writing. Well, not stuck, I know what is going to HAPPEN, I just can't see to get it on the page with any sort of conviction that I like. It seems too 'he did this, he did that' to me. I hate that. Things have to flow. Individual actions don't matter. I am also not sure about the Snape characterisation. Perhaps I should ask the Snape in question. If he decides to come ONLINE tomorrow. How dare he have a life.
And - shock - horror - I am not getting any writing done at work!! I have too much work to do! It's not fair! I need to have nothing to do, so I can get bored, take out my notebook, and scrawl when no one is looking.
The Manager caught me with my "Embodiment Of Evil" name badge today, too. Damn. It took three shifts. I was hoping for slightly longer than that. Bugger.
All in all, I feel quite productive. Something about making a chocolate cake, creaming it and icing it and watching people eat it is fulfilling. Well, perhaps licking the beaters was a little MORE fulfilling, but anyway. Why else do people make sweets, hmmm?
I wish I was as simple as my cats, sometimes. Target had a lovely time this afternoon, rolling around in a cardboard box and chasing a mirror ball around the kitchen. Jacko ate. And slept. And meowed to be patted.
I want that life. Give it to me.
