Rita smiled, enjoying his uncertainty, turned away and moved to her dresser, lifting the acid-green quill from its surface and dipping her hand into the top drawer to retrieve a pot of shimmering golden ink she'd bought recently - from that fantastic store owned by the Weasley brothers. Smiling, she turned back, twirling the quill in her fingers, and climbed onto the bed behind him. Without a word, she leaned over him, kissed his throat, his shoulder; slid a stockinged knee over the back of his thighs.
She trailed the tip of the feather up and down his spine. Uncapping the ink, she murmured: "As I said, Severus, you've drained me of all my inspiration. I thought, perhaps..." She turned the quill around, dipped its nib in the ink and let a drop fall onto his shoulder and run a trail down toward his throat, "That writing all the filthy things I'd like to do to you on your skin might help me recover my muse." The ink was laced with a potent aphrodisiac potion, and surely he would feel its warm, tingling effects against his skin already.
Well, I think I broke my own brain. Whew! Full (so far, still incomplete) log here.
Okay, well now it's 7:30am and I still haven't slept. I think I should go to bed. Damn Snape, keeping me up all night ;)

Date: 2006-05-13 08:59 pm (UTC)Just to let you know, I whipped out Stella in a reply to an owl, earlier. She's married to Yexley, I decided, who's featured on the Black family tree way back when, and mentioned in canon as some DE guy who escaped Azkaban. She has two young kids. A boy who'll be in third year next year, and a girl who'll be starting first year. Soo... all of those characters could be open.
Was there someone in particular you were thinking of applying for?

Date: 2006-05-14 12:18 am (UTC)Well, yeah, but could really use some young society witches and wizards, since some of the younger characters will be leaving Hogwarts next year and such. I could certainly ask the od about that, and if you sibmitted a strong app with good details for a character that would have a part to play, I think it might be allowed. I'll ask Lara, our mod. She's fairly good about things, but I would of course have to ask. With the move to 'Brightwater' over summer, introducing some new, non-school ages characters could really work. I was talking to her the other day about being interested in having more adults around, and really, there aren't too many canon adults around. And besides, if the character is someone whose name is mentioned in the books somewhere, they're not REALLY an OC, just an undeveloped name. No more OC than Vicky Frobisher or Daphne Greengrass etc, who are all playing in the game. I think the main point is no OC's from Harry's year, and no bloody Mary Sues.
Actually, one of our other players has just taken on Bellatrix under a new sn, unfortunately.
Do you only play women?
Btw, I am on AIM if you are around.
